Style: Hoppy Belgian Witbier
OG: 14 Plato
Malts: Pale, torrified wheat, oats
Hops: Amarillo, Citra
Yeast: Escarpment Labs Belgian Wit Ale
Extras: Orange zest, Indian coriander seeds
Aroma: orange juice, citrus pith, clove, bread dough
Appearance: straw to light gold. Hazy with white head
Taste: moderate bitterness up front followed by fruity notes and peppery/clove spice. Dry and refreshing.
Mouthfeel: medium high body and moderate carbonation contribute to pillowy, almost creamy mouthfeel.
Overall Impression: A hazy, light-colored fruity spicy version of an American IPA. Think of Hoegaarden crossed with UPA.
