Yeast: kettle-soured with lactobacillus and fermented with our house Belgian ale yeast strain. No brettanomyces added
Other: Aged in red wine barrels (baco noir) for 5 months

Aroma: red wine, black currants, with notes of tobacco and slight hint of vinegar

Appearance: tan to light brown with red hues. Hazy. Long-lasting off-white head

Taste: moderate  lactic sourness upfront with notes of red berries offset with medium to high oak tannins. Hint of vanilla. Complex. No hop bitterness

Mouthfeel: medium-to-high body with medium carbonation. Refreshing.

Overall Impression: A balanced, malty, wine-flavored dark sour beer
