Style: Session-style Vienna Lager
Story: This is the beer that Tawse winemaker Paul Pender wants to drink after harvesting grapes for 14 hours.
OG: 10.5 Plato
Malts: Vienna, Pilsner, Munich, Carafoam, Carafa
Hops: Magnum, Hallertau Mittlefruh
Yeast: Copenhagen Lager
Aroma: bread dough, toast, biscuits, and water crackers. Slight fruitiness.
Appearance: Light Copper/amber with orange and red streaks. Crystal clear. Persistent white head that leaves a bit of lacing on the glass.
Taste: bread crust and pretzel malt character upfront, with a soft minerality and slight hop bitterness on the quite dry finish. No hop flavour.
Mouthfeel: medium body and medium carbonation. Goes down smooth and easy, encouraging another sip
Overall Impression: A sessionable, malt-forward, low gravity lager.
